Welcoming Jan Verstraelen to George Baker Shipping
George Baker Shipping is pleased to announce a further expansion of our European operations with the development of our presence in Belgium. This latest step supports our continued growth strategy across mainland Europe and strengthens our ability to provide local expertise and support to customers operating across key European markets.
As part of this expansion, we are delighted to welcome Jan Verstraelen to the George Baker team. Jan will spend time at the FMDC next week meeting colleagues and becoming established within the business before taking up his role based in Belgium, where he will support our European business development plans.
With over 30 years of experience in the logistics industry, Jan brings extensive knowledge across sea, road and air freight operations. His expertise spans multiple sectors, including commodities and FMCG, and his understanding of the Central European market will play an important role in developing new business opportunities while supporting our valued customers on the ground.
