About Jack

Possessing over ten years of experience in the shipping and transport IT sector, handling both support and development, I decided to join George Baker as IT manager in 2022. It’s clear that the importance of IT is at the forefront of this business, and therefore an exciting opportunity to get involved with.

Two days in IT are never the same, handling multiple scenarios and events is critical to support all staff and company integrations. Over the years I’ve obtained Microsoft accreditations in SQL databases and PowerBI, which reflects in some of the projects we have achieved as a company, but also a passion of mine. Working closely with our IT provider to ensure we have both a robust and resilient environment at George Baker is a daily occurrence for me!

Technology is an exciting industry to be involved with and I’m proud to be part of this company and play a key role in our future IT.
